We have a dedicated nursery with attendants available for infants to age three and classes for children Pre-K through 8th Grade.
The Nursery is open for the entirety of the service. You can drop off your child(ren) at 9:45 am and pick them up when the service ends—usually at 11:30 am.
Children in PreK through 8th Grade are dismissed from the Gathering Space to Children's Church before the sermon. At the end of the song that follows the announcements, a message will appear on the screens notifying parents when kids can head to their classes.
We encourage you to consult the building map below. A member of the Hospitality Team would also be happy to give you a tour of the building.
The Nursery is located on the south side of the building, which is accessed through the Fellowship Hall. The current location of each class is:
- Room 101: Pre-K
- Room 102: Kindergarten & 1st Grade
- Room 103: Grades 2 and 3
- Room 104: Grades 4 and 5
- Conference Room: Grades 6 through 8
- Nursery and Pre-K through 1st Graders remain in their rooms until the end of the service. You can pick them up promptly once the service ends—usually at 11:30 a.m. Make sure to present your security label to the teacher.
- 2nd through 8th Graders are released back to the Gathering Space following the sermon to join their parents for the closing songs of the service.
If your child needs you, you will receive a text message from our check-in software.
Your child(ren)'s safety is our first priority. That's why we use check-in software that generates name and security labels. These labels help us to identify who children are, determine where they should be, and include any potential medical notes. Each unique security code matches the parent/guardian to their children and provides a means of secure pickup.
Our teachers are regular attendees and members of King's Chapel who have been trained and have gone through a background check. They teach age-appropriate Bible lessons from a curriculum called The Gospel Project.
